Venus in Leo.

 

Venus entering Leo on June 5th/6th is a very important cosmic event. We all should take note of what happens, especially with matters of our heart and with our finances. This may may hold a clue as to what themes or issues each of us will be working with over the coming months.  As Venus travels through Leo, it will station retrograde on July 23rd. Venus only retrogrades every 18 months or so, making this a rare energy to work with.

This beautiful energy will blend the perfect amount of creativity with feeling a need to take action.  The creative projects and visions inside of us are craving to get out. Today is the day they find their passion, their own energy to progress and move forward.

Venus Retrograde starts on June 19/20 and is one of the biggest cosmic events of our year. As Venus slips into shadow phase, meaning she begins her retrograde journey, we will feel her bringing up our old wounds.  Ancient Mayan astrologers believed that when a planet stationed retrograde it was entering the Underworld, moving deeper into the subconscious and hidden realms of life.  Now is the time to begin to prepare for Venus’ underworld journey. We may not be able to make sense of why certain thoughts, memories, ideas and old wounds come forward. Jupiter Retrograde  in Taurus

Jupiter’s retrograde phase lasts for about four months and occurs once a year. This optical phenomenon gives the impression from Earth that the planet is moving backward. Now, this phase has different consequences and an alteration of its external functions. In 2023, Jupiter will retrograde in Taurus from September 4 – December 31, so, without further ado, discover the impacts it’s set to have and how you can anticipate them!

As Jupiter retrogrades, it encourages us to rethink the paths we are following. It also urges us to take our time to analyze things in order to establish our correct balance. Once we find our correct balance, we find our motivation to choose our life path, followed by reflection of our past actions and then moving into our future.  By changing certain thought patterns, you will be better able to understand the placement of Jupiter on your own life path. This phase, which introduces doubt, can lead to a spiritual analysis. When Jupiter retrogrades, it opens the way to an inner journey and self-realization. Follow your movement, which you will find is led by your curiosity.  This time of reflection will also be supportive in the area of finances. Although during this transit your ability to manage money may be impaired, do not hesitate to seize your chance if it comes.

When Jupiter goes retrograde in Taurus, it helps us adopt a more practical approach toward our goals.   • On September 16th, retrograde Jupiter will be making a square with Venus in Leo, which will be exposing ways in which we could have overindulged in any capacity during May or early June when Jupiter was direct. Take time to think back and ask yourself: Did I take too many risks? or Have I overindulged in any way?
  • On October 28th, Jupiter will square off with Mars in Scorpio during our full moon lunar eclipse in Taurus. Some big and painful relationships or careers may end.
  • On November 3rd, Jupiter will be opposed by our Scorpio sun, unleashing our desire to indulge in extravagant fun and material items. Keep an eye on your wallet!!!
  • On December 7th, Jupiter receives a trine from Mercury in Capricorn as Mercury prepares to go retrograde. A big light bulb could be your answer to a problem that you have been working on for a while.
  • At the same time as Jupiter stations direct on December 30th, Saturn in Pisces will be forming a sextile on December 31st, bringing in a major financial growth period!

March 2023 – Part 2

Luck is all around us….

Truly, Luck is all around us, all the time. Yet, I would say: are you calling Luck to you or are you pushing it away? And how do you know which one you are doing??

Well, that has so much to do with your words, thoughts and actions. With just a few adjustments you can go from repelling Luck to drawing it to you.

WORDS.  I was talking to my friend Char the other day and she said: “I am always so busy! When one thing gets off my calendar, 2 things jump on. I am always busy, busy, busy.” I called her on it, asking her why she would call in being so busy… just being more and more busy.

THOUGHTS.  In her own words, which only reflects her inner thoughts, no matter what she does, no matter how hard she works, she will always have more and more busy things to keep her from the life she would love to have.

ACTION.  Char is pure action. From the time she gets up in the morning, until she falls asleep at night, she is in motion. She schedules time to meditate, yet usually has to cancel her “Me Time” to work on something for her job or her family. Char is always over-scheduled, so why would she draw in more things to add to her already over-loaded schedule??

All of Char’s words, thoughts and actions are aligned; yet they are aligned for things she does not desire in her life. Now comes Char’s opportunity to change and upgrade her life. Once Char decides to change her ‘busy life’, she can start changing her belief that being busy will give her the life she truly desires.

Changing her thinking is just step one. Her words, thoughts and actions will keep trying to move her back into her old comfort zone of being busy all the time. Char will have to keep changing and upgrading her own mind.

Each step forward often comes with one or two steps back. This dance will go on until Char is finally done with going back into her old Busy Dance.

Char has many Busy Dance steps that are new to her, and I know she will have a true mixture of easier and harder days. Yet, I promised her that the changes will get easier and easier as she keeps making better choices. Know that the more Char keeps making better and better choices, things will get easier.

 

PLUTO in AQUARIUS 

Pluto first enters the fixed air sign of Aquarius March 23, 2023, which marks our long shifting out of Capricorn. First, he will retrograde several times back into Capricorn, then move directly into Aquarius. Finally, he will enter Aquarius for good November 19, 2024.

Pluto in Aquarius will unfold a new era of transforming toxicity in the realm of politics, humanitarianism, social justice, science, technology, social media, and the internet. Additionally, this transit will affect our notion of freedom and free speech. We will experience a revolutionary energy surrounding our relationship to power and control.

While Pluto is in Aquarius, we take social structures and politics especially seriously, and we seek major reform in these areas. Unusual, intense or dramatic happenings are possible with friends and networks.

During this long-term cycle, we are likely to confront issues of control and power related to individuality, equality, friendships and group associations. We can be on a quest to distinguish ourselves for our progressiveness, scientific minds, ideals, humanitarianism or unique qualities. It’s also a time when we seek to change and overhaul society through science, inventions and the mind/ideas.

 

Mars in Cancer

Assertive Mars has an uphill battle ahead of him when he moves into the sensitive sign of Cancer. This warrior planet prefers to charge ahead, acting on instincts rather than weighing the consequences of its actions. Cancer is a Water sign concerned with emotional security and protection — not exactly a natural fit for aggressive Martian energy. So when impulsive Mars moves into the sign of Cancer, she douses his fiery flame, forcing him to slow down and move more carefully.

Mars represents our inner warrior. He’s assertive and action-oriented, helping rev us up so we can get from point A to point B. It may seem like we’re all doomed to stand still when Mars begins its tour through the sign of Cancer. But don’t be fooled! This transit still packs quite the punch! Mars in Cancer still has fight in it — it simply chooses to fight with deep sensitivity for what it’s most emotionally connected to.

Mars’ trek through Cancer gives us the opportunity to blend the fiery planet’s initiative with Cancerian concerns for preservation. We’ll want to spend this time carefully building things that honor and acknowledge our connection to the past and to family values. Our urge to move forward during this time doesn’t cut us off from familiar patterns, but includes them, to make for a gentler and more comfortable step into the future.

It’s true that Mars is toned down when it moves through sensitive Cancer, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get anything done. If we learn how to work with the Mars-in-Cancer energy, a great deal can be accomplished. Digging into domestic tasks is one of the best ways to use this transit. Mars in Cancer is a great opportunity to get out your hammer and nails so you can start — or finish — a home improvement project.

You may also feel a greater need to fight for the rights of a family member or a domestic situation during this time. Even though Mars in Cancer prefers using its energy to nurture, it will ultimately do whatever it takes to defend what and whom it cares about. As a result, you may notice that an intensely protective instinct takes over your actions when Mars and Cancer sync up.

The problem with Mars’ transit though cautious Cancer is that rather than taking a direct approach to going after what we want, we take a more passive one. If we don’t feel emotionally connected to something, it’s unlikely we’ll take action. Unfortunately, the action we do take is usually ruled by the heart, and may be more reactive and oversensitive than purposeful.

 

New Moon in Aries & Spring Equinox

The March 21st, 2023 Equinox brings us a huge urge to bring balance into our life as we also strike a balance on our Earth as we honor equal hours of night and day.

The March Equinox also aligns with the start of Aries Season. As Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, it is considered the start of the astrological new year, and the start of a new adventure around the Sun.

Depending on where in the world you live, the March Equinox also brings the arrival of a new season. For those in the Northern Hemisphere, it represents the start of Spring. For those in the Southern Hemisphere, it represents the start of Autumn.

All of this combined makes the March Equinox a powerful day for aligning in harmony with our higher selves, focusing on renewal and creating balance.

Depending on what Mother Nature is doing around us, and where we are on our own personal trip around the Sun, we may feel called to blossom and sprout, or we may feel called to go within and retreat.

Embrace where you are and acknowledge that, just like the seasons change, so do your life circumstances. Under this March 2023 Equinox, anything is possible.

To embrace all of these energies, use the March Equinox to soak up the energies of balance. Use this energy to return to a zero-point state where you are steady, sure, and whole in who you are.

Use the March Equinox energies to bring balance into your routine through setting your intentions. Acknowledge where things are out of balance, and work to bring ease and harmony to those areas.

Saturn in Pisces 2023-2024

Manifesting Dreams

One of the coming changes involves Saturn moving signs. Saturn changes signs once every 2-3 years. This year Saturn is leaving Aquarius, where it has been since 2020, and entering Pisces.

Saturn enters the mutable water sign of Pisces on March 7, 2023 at 5:34 am. It will not retrograde back into Aquarius. For some context of the kind of changes we will experience, let’s review Saturn’s recent tenancy in Aquarius.

Saturn has been in Aquarius since 2020. Saturn first entered Aquarius on March 21, 2020, retrograded back into Capricorn on July 1, 2020, and then re-entered Aquarius on December 17, 2020. Over the course of this time we experienced the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Saturn as Co-Ruler of Capricorn and Aquarius

Interestingly, Saturn is the co-ruler of both Capricorn and Aquarius. Although we consider Capricorn to be the more picture-perfect representation of Saturnian temperament, Aquarius is also about structure. However, Aquarian social structure gathers around pure ideals, whereas Capricornian social structure is more of a top-down construction.

Saturn Confused in Watery Pisces

In watery Pisces, Saturn is a bit lost. That’s because Saturn likes to build in a methodical, slow and steady way. He puts his head down and gets to work, understanding the basic law of nature — that with enough steady work, discipline, and persistence, his efforts will build into tangible success.

 

Pisces’ Neptunian immateriality is basically antithetical to Saturn’s earthy desire to build solid foundations. Saturn is related to Kronos, the Greek god of time, but time is elastic and subjective in Neptune’s realm. Neptune dreams and turns inward; Saturn sees itself in the context of the society and focuses outward.

Spirituality or Dissolution of Structure?

On one hand, we may see the materialization of our dreams. Saturn passing through Pisces can bring spiritual quests the requirement of an inner journey. We may find others on our inner journey of mixing religion, magic and mysticism, with a touch of wondering where you belong.

On the other hand, we will see a real dissolution of old foundational structures going into collapse mode, only to come out completely restructured. I also feel there will be a huge movement of accountability with our government and leaders. For example, following money trails that lead to bank accounts that should not be there. There will also be a huge movement to re-connect communities, families and humanity itself.

Saturn will be in Pisces until May 24, 2024, when he begins his 8-month-long transition into Aries. Saturn won’t be in Pisces again until 2052.

These were just two of a group of four Acts implemented by England which were collectively titled The Coercive Acts, but were known as The Intolerable Acts in the American colonies.

We will experience the same type of energy which was around during the American Revolution! Pluto, the Lord of the Underworld, sends us energy filled with transformation, death & rebirth, and the mighty power of evolution. Therefore, Pluto will be our most important transit of the year and will continue to change and transform the United States for the next 20 years!

Pluto first entered Capricorn in 2008. Interestingly enough, his transition into Capricorn was marked by the most devastating financial crisis since the Great Depression. The following 16 years or so featured the serious dismantling of traditional power structures and revealed the widespread corruption of those in power over financial issues.

Over the last 15 years we have become all too aware of the corrupting nature of power. Quite literally, in Pluto’s realm of the taboo, we saw sex trafficking on a massive scale which involved many people in positions of power. We also saw a massive transformation of conventional standards and the dismantling of tradition.

Next to change . . .

Pluto in Aquarius will unfold a new era of transforming politics, humanitarianism, social justice, science, technology, social media and the internet. Additionally, this transit will affect our notion of freedom and free speech. We will experience a revolution surrounding our relationship with power and control.

Pluto’s transit through Capricorn revealed Capricorn’s shadow themes. Similarly, Pluto’s transit through Aquarius will highlight the dark side of Aquarius. For example: problems revolving around emotional detachment, rebellion and futurism may be on the horizon.

It is possible that artificial intelligence may continue to develop down a path reminiscent of the long-unheeded warnings of dystopian science fiction. Alternatively, we may experience a crisis in lack of tolerance for different kinds of people. After all, Aquarius is the sign of humanitarianism.

February 2023

Start Your New Year, Again!

I know we are halfway through the month, yet, energy-wise, it feels like a false start because Mercury is in Retrograde, and Mars is just coming out of retrograde.
Mars in Gemini has been very interesting as we have noted several small “wars on words,” both spoken and not spoken.
Mercury in Capricorn messed up travel plans over the holidays and caused mechanical troubles with cars, computer glitches, and issues with electronic appliances. And don’t forget all the misunderstandings, communication breakdowns, and halted contract negotiations common around this time.
Hopefully, on the 18th of January, as Mercury turns direct and moves into post-shadow and joins Mars in post-shadow motion, we can really start 2023. This restart will feel like a true beginning. So, start setting your plans for 2023! My year usually begins with a new desk calendar that I spend a few days putting stickers on and really thinking about what I want to do and where I’d like to go this year. Perhaps doing something that I never thought I could do. I project myself forward in time and imagine all my present moments. When I do, I feel gratitude for every mistake, everything done right, and every person in my life from moment one. I am grateful for my parents, grandparents, brother, sisters, and cousins. I am in tears just thinking about my horses, my dogs & cats, knowing I would not have made it through my childhood without them – Gypsy Bootsie, Daquarie, Venus, Peanut, Sunshine, Gata, & Sheba. Their love and kindness carries me everyday.
All of my present moments energize me to move forward into the new year and new beginnings. I capture all the love given and received and brought into my life that day and all of the 365 days to come.
I do a grounding meditation and imagine myself on December 31, 2023, in my backyard playing with sparklers with my hubby and thinking about everything I did throughout my year and being in total gratitude and reconnecting with each of my “present moments.” The first grounding meditation for 2023 will be on January 19th; which is our first “11 day” after the planetary energies that have been affecting us move a bit forward.
Meditation is a technique used for thousands of years to develop an awareness of our present moment. When we can involve practices with the purpose of sharpening focus and attention, connecting to the body and breath, we develop acceptance of the present moment.

Judging Others may affect your Health

We are naturally social creatures, and our natural instinct is to judge – or size up – those around us. We do this by asking ourselves questions like:
  1. Who is this person?
  2. Are they truthful?
  3. What are they not telling me?
  4. Are they going to hurt me?

We judge people for so many reasons. Are their clothes designer or not? Is their furniture new or old and tattered? Do we agree with their political views? The list of items we judge is endless. Yet, how dare we sit in judgment of others?
It has been discovered that judging others is harmful to our health. The question is how?

Judgment Makes you Self-Critical

When we judge others, we are likely to judge ourselves more harshly. By constantly looking for the worst in others, we train our minds to find the worst in ourselves. This leads us to think we need to keep improving ourselves, when nothing is broken, which increases stress. Stress can weaken the immune system and cause high blood pressure, fatigue, depression, anxiety, and even stroke.
Did you know that more than 43% of all American adults suffer adverse health effects from stress? Stress can lead to health problems like headaches, muscle tension, anger, social withdrawal, low sex drive, lack of focus, sleep issues, fatigue, stomach upset, and depression.
It’s easy to see faults in ourselves and others. It takes more effort to find common ground between ourselves and others, to uncover what we love about them, and find that same love in ourselves. People like thinking their faults and differences make them unique and special. Trying to be too unique can led to feeling separate, disconnected, and alone. We all have the source in us and should connect to that part in each other.

Karmic kicks in when we stand in judgment of others. Often when we judge others for things that we have also done wrong, or incorrectly, karma can act quickly to allow us to hold on to the energy from both of you. I know it is an attempt to assist us in learning our lesson and being able to release both sets of karmic energy.

Sagittarius Season

begins on

November 22 and lasts thru December 21.

Sagittarius is represented by the arrow of the cosmic archer. Archers always line up their bows with very meticulous aim and precision. Once the arrow is released, the archer has released control of his arrow and fate is in control.
With the understanding we have garnered during Scorpio Season, we can hope to better aim our arrows from our new state of alignment, higher purpose, and greater wisdom. We can be better prepared, so our arrows have a greater chance of hitting the target.
Just one day after Sagittarius Season begins, we start a new lunar cycle with the Sagittarius New Moon. We will move farther away from the Blood Moon Eclipse energy, which peaked on November 8. Yet, Eclipses are influential in our lives for months, allowing us to move in new directions, and hopefully, ones that will direct our fate into new pathways.
Jupiter, the ruling planet of Sagittarius, is also active at this time, stationing direct on the same day as the New Moon. Jupiter has been in retrograde since July, so we may notice themes from that time coming back into our awareness.
As we move into December, the Sun aligns with royal star Antares (star of success and achievement), activating a high-frequency Star Gate assisting us in balancing a new heart and mind connection.
Neptune also stations direct on December 3, in alignment with the heart of the new Star Gate, bringing some new vision of clarity with energy. This new clarity in energy continues as we approach the Gemini Full Moon on December 7, with some changeable activations due to Mars Retrograde energies we have been moving through.

Total Lunar Eclipse on November 8th

Begins at 2:02am, peaks at 4:59am, and ends 8am.
If the skies are clear we will be able to it, however, there will be a better view if we take a drive to the southwest.
The Lunar Eclispe in Taurus will push us into finishing old to-do lists and completing tasks previously left undone. It will highlight the life lessons we have learned and knowledge we have gathered throughout our lives. For example, when to double down and go for something, and when to stomp on the brakes.
Eclipse Seasons can induce intense emotions since they contain the capacity for the kind of change that shifts our consciousness and vibration. My suggestion, make sure you are not braking when you should be gassing it and vice versa.
Lunar Eclipses occur at the Lunar Nodes (meaning the planetary poles), which are more power filled than the moon energy we normally receive.
Many of the changes Eclipse Season brings have to do with our personal lunar nodes. We each have a personal North Node and a South Node found in our natal/birth astrological charts. The North Node represents the energies we are here to embrace and understand during our lifetime. The South Node represents the energies we were born with, which can often influence our attachments.
While not all of these energies need to be released, others do for the sake of your life path so we can move down a new road. The path we choose to take is a karmic path. The work in our life is to shift energies from our South Node (born with) to the energies of our North Node (inner strengths).
Eclipses activate the moon’s Lunar Nodes helping us to make huge leaps on our Nodal path. Each Node, just like planets, is positioned in an astrological sign. Depending on which sign and where that sign is on our Natal Chart (snapshot of the sky at the moment of our birth) transmitting that vibration to us affects our soul’s quest for development and growth.

The South Node forms our comfort zones and the places we return to over and over again. For example, someone dates or marries someone just like their Dad.
We have to walk a fine line so as to not get too attached to the not-so-good part of the South Node out of familiarity. Part of our journey is to detach and leave behind the lower vibrations of the South Node.
North Node, on the other hand, holds the energetic qualities we are required to embrace, cherish, and love about ourselves. Each of us has our own issues and life lessons that are an integral part of us.
Understanding the nodes of the moon and our personal nodes can assist us in finding and shaping our path. When we understand this we understand how Lunar Nodes can affect society as a whole.
Society
The North Node governs the energies that we as a society are ready to assimilate. The South Node represents the energies our society could be ready to release. Also note that the lowest energy at the South Node is often common to a greater degree in the collective so that we may all see and identify it. Through this recognition, we can decide in unison what is no longer beneficial for the evolution of society. Every astrological energy has a high frequency and a lower frequency. When working with the lunar nodes we are always stepping away from the lower frequencies of the signs involved.
With the North Node in Taurus for the solar eclipse, society will want to be grounded and find peaceful solutions in the new energy of who we are today, with the lessons we have learned as a group.
With the South Node in Scorpio, society is ready to leave behind chaotic and traumatizing behaviors that we have been in for the last 2 years, and transition into a time where we know our truths. It will be like a whack-a-mole game. We will be feeling like society is bopping us on the head to go back to the old way of thinking and the new way of thinking. Keep in mind what you are thinking and feeling and consider their objectives!
Nodes in Eclipse season
During an Eclipse Season, energies from current nodes are amplified and can help us release old attachments from our South Node and better understand the energies of our North Node. We are now in a giant transformation period as a society and as individuals. Take note of comfort zones and/or stagnant energies, since that will be pulling you back into South Node comfort zones. The more you are ready for transformation the more Eclipse Season will feel intense and a bit overwhelming. It’s ok to keep making upgrades. Here are a few hints to keep the transformation going:

Family Time can be Nerve Wreaking

Most of the time our family, or the people who are closest to us, find it difficult to respect our boundaries. Even if your family is relatively normal, happy, & functional, there might still be a few members that routinely cross your barrier or treat you in a way that you don’t like.
When we are in this type of relationship dynamic, many people will play the people-pleaser to avoid difficulty. If there are members of your family that are cutting into your happiness, it’s time to set firm boundaries with them. Here are my suggestions for you.
1. Understand that your needs are important.
Often, people will avoid building boundaries because they crave a relationship with someone who is powerful in their family. At some point, we realize this relationship dynamic is hurting us. That is when we blame ourselves for not seeing their true colors. Then we try to set boundaries, and they do everything in their power to jump over them.
This is especially true of difficult family members. It is important to keep in mind that your needs are just as important as that person’s needs. A form of manipulation they may use is to make you feel as though you can’t set up boundaries because their needs are more important than yours.
2. Seek out people who value you.
Find family members who unconditionally love and respect you. Seek them out and ask them to help you set firm, healthy boundaries with those in the family that don’t seem to value you. If there are no members of your family who can assist you, find people from your “family circle”. Your friend group is a good place to start. You are bound to have at least one friend that can assist you in building the boundaries that you require.
3. Be firm, but kind.
Since you are not accustomed to setting boundaries, allow me to guide you as you start. When setting boundaries, you don’t have to be harsh, just firm. Don’t allow others to make you do, say, or act in a way that is uncomfortable to you. Be kind to those difficult family members, and your attitude of “kill them with kindness” leaves you blameless for any wrongdoing. If you show them anger or defensiveness it will only serve to rile them up, cause them to lash out at you, and blame you. Keeping your kindness flowing, will most likely lead to a calm exchange.

4. Keep your expectations realistic.
For example, it is not realistic to agree to attend Thanksgiving at that family member’s house, when you know that they are going to belittle & respect the boundaries you have for the entire time you are there. Be realistic with yourself about how much time feels tolerable to you with that difficult family member and in what situations you are willing to see that person.
If you have to give in and attend family events, there are a few things to keep in mind:
  • Where you park is important; make sure your vehicle will not be blocked in by others. so you can leave when you are ready to go.
  • Before you go in, set your energy bubble, set your boundaries, and decide “if this happens, I will go”.
  • Don’t let them corner you or be alone with them.
  • Limit the time you have to be in the same room as them.
  • Speak only your truth at all times.
  • Relax as much as possible. If you are on edge or antsy they will be the same. You have a right to voice your truth and set healthy boundaries about how you are treated.
5. Be willing to hold your boundaries no matter what happens.
One thing most people forget is that if someone is being toxic towards you, you have the right to hold your boundaries. You can do this in two ways. The first option is to stay, hold your boundaries, and be treated with respect. Secondly, you can hold your boundaries and leave the situation.
Allow me to speak to your heart. If you feel like you have to defend yourself, someone is sending energy at you to make you feel like you are being attacked. Therefore you might feel like you want to defend yourself. If your difficult family members are experts at making you look like the bad guy or making you feel bad for blowing up after they have been toxic to you, the best thing to do is simply leave. Just get up and go. You don’t have to explain yourself, you don’t have to apologize.
6. Keep in mind that you are in charge of what you do.
No one else can make you do or feel anything. You are in charge of whether or not you maintain your boundaries. For example, you are at a family gathering and your difficult uncle says something derogatory about your job. When you tell him to stop making fun of you, he says something about how you’ve never been good at taking a joke. At this point, you have two choices. You can either pretend that everything is fine or you can say, “That crosses the line. If you’re going to continue, I’m going to leave.” This establishes what is and what is not okay and puts the consequences of the action back on the difficult family member.
7. Be direct.
Dropping hints or being passive-aggressive about your boundaries is the worst way for anyone to understand them. Many difficult family members are difficult expressly because they are unobservant and careless. Being very explicit about what is okay and what is not okay is the only way you can make sure that they understand what your boundaries are.
8. Take care of yourself.
When you take care of yourself, you are more willing to set up and stick to your boundaries. Self-care can help you understand the importance of your own boundaries and can help motivate you to make sure your boundaries are well-defined and are being observed. While putting yourself first all the time isn’t healthy, occasionally taking the time to care about yourself first and foremost, especially when dealing with difficult family members, is very important.
9. Learn to be assertive.
Many difficult people get away with being difficult because no one stands up to them. Whether your father seems to enjoy cutting you down or your cousins’ teasing often crosses a line and goes too far, simply being assertive and telling people what you need and what you want can be enough to set the boundaries you need. If you are assertive, you become someone with whom people do not trifle. You become someone that is respected rather than ridiculed. Stand up for yourself!

We have some intense astrology leading up to the second Eclipse Portal. Get ready for revelations, fast adjustments, and soul- evolutionary energy making some huge differences.  Mercury has been in post-shadow energy, which is still retrograde, since the 2nd. It’s starting to ease up a bit while forming an opposition to Jupiter. Then Mars in Gemini will form a square with Neptune in retrograde. This will fill us with ambiguity, uncertainty, and feeling like we are being pushed backward.

On October 22nd, Saturn transitions into post-shadow energy, and Jupiter returns to Pisces after being in Aries since May. Pluto stations direct in Capricorn while approaching the end of its journey through the sign that began in 2008. When Pluto is stationary, it is imperative to evolve and alchemize outdated patterns both for the collective and for each individual.  The Aries Full Moon will be in conjunction with the asteroid Chiron (the Wounded Healer), offering us opportunities for intense emotional processing mixed with inner work.

By the end of October, we are entering eclipse season, a time of momentous acceleration of the collective and individuals. A partial Solar Eclipse in Scorpio on the South Node of the Moon will open new opportunities and could bring destined changes in our lives. Jupiter retrogrades back into Pisces shortly after, supporting our spiritual journey and our willingness to explore the higher meaning of what we are going through.  The energy shifts when Pluto invites us to take conscious action to align with truths that have been becoming clearer while in retrograde. Pluto stationing direct in Capricorn exposes what is false, corrupt, and decaying in the systems and structures we are relying upon, brutally bringing our attention to them and making us confront it head-on.  The Aries Moon opposes the Sun and Venus in Libra, bringing up tension in us to recognize our need to be free to follow our heart’s desires, to be nurtured, as well as be supported by our connections with others.  Chiron is in conjunction with the Aries Full Moon and is opposing the Sun and Venus. 9.9 Portal Energy & Autumn Equinox

We have a powerful few weeks ahead of us as we continue to move towards the Autumn Equinox. The 9:9 Portal will bring with it some amazing energy along the way. The portal will open on September 09 and will be open for nine additional days. This will be a literal open stargate into different dimensions! The cosmic energies coming in can assist in bringing us back into alignment and connect us with waves of energy full of Creator Light Codes that can trigger our DNA to activate healing.  We each came with our own set of light codes, which have been continually making copies over and over again. The new ascension energies will activate new codes, which signal the completion of a cycle. This is an opportunity for a new beginning if we are willing to release old baggage that no longer serves us.
Once you begin to release, you can expect some resolution of issues you have been trying to work through. The Gemini New Moon on May 30 will help close the eclipse portal we have been working with since the end of April. Energies should start to settle down, and we may begin feeling a little more stable, especially around any transformations.  Expect to have your inner student magnify or increase your desires to take in and exchange information. Gemini is a mutable sign that’s flexible, open-minded, and adaptable.

Gemini season forces us to soak up the remainder of spring and brace ourselves for the arrival of the summer solstice. The Sagittarius Super Full Moon on June 14 will also illuminate things for us, helping us come face to face with a deeper and higher truth.

Mercury in Retrograde  in Taurus & Gemini

Our second mercury retrograde of 2022 begins on May 10 in Gemini. As this one starts off, communication will be difficult. All the typical problems with transportation and technology are highly likely with Mercury in its home sign of Gemini. Mercury’s move back into Taurus on May 22 brings money and values into the picture. Before this, the messenger planet makes a sextile to Jupiter on May 19. This rather auspicious aspect brings some good energy to this retrograde. Ideas will be expansive, no obstacle or course of action is too grand. Although, the next couple of weeks should be a planning stage. Brash actions don’t typically pan out well during Mercury retrograde.

Mercury meets our Sun for its meeting

on May 21, at the critical zero degrees mark in Gemini.  This is a paramount time to examine our relationship with money and material things. The retrograde will pose a tough question for some: Do you value what you spend your money on? Frivolous spenders may be in for a rude awakening with this one. However, the retrograde presents the right opportunity to review budgets and could inspire some to spend in more thoughtful and sustainable ways. Over-attachment to money or material possessions will have to be dealt with.

Just a couple of days later, Mercury trines Pluto from May 24-27. Under this aspect, we’ll be connected to our self-worth. This can present a deep look at the root of self-doubt and sabotage, along with ways to release these behaviors in a light-hearted manner. A metamorphosis will take place on a fundamental level. The retrograde comes to an end on June 3, when Mercury squares Saturn and makes an enchanting aspect to Neptune. We may need to implement some more discipline while letting our imaginations run wild. Seek inspiration because ideas could become a reality, it just takes hard work and the fortitude to make it happen.

~~~Mercury Retrograde Effects:

The second Mercury retrograde for 2022 begins in air sign Gemini, and this is the last to impact Gemini for a few years. With Mercury being the natural ruler of Gemini, its retrograde in Gemini can be especially challenging for communication and expression. That has been the case for the last few years, and we may find we become aware of issues now that we need to work on quickly before moving on.  We can be extra busy, with plenty to do, which might make us scattered and lack focus. We’re just pulled in too many directions. Or, we may not have enough to do, and that makes us anxious and restless. Our mind goes wonky and we need more to occupy it. We need to find a middle ground between the two.  This can be a good time to pick back up an old idea or plan and put it to good use quickly, or to study something you’ve studied before and need a refresher with or want to go further with.  Mercury goes backward into Taurus on May 22nd, and this can make us feel stale and stuck. Energy slows way down, and we may be immovable. We can get stubborn, and this can get us even more stuck. We have to keep moving, even just a tiny bit.  We can get extra frustrated, and this can cause us to lash out at times. But that just gives us more trouble, so try to avoid that. Have a healthy outlet for frustrated energy before this retrograde even begins so you don’t have to worry about it.   This can be helpful energy for reconnecting with the moment and being more present in your life. Maybe things don’t need to be rushed right now, and taking time to just be can help with stress.  Jupiter also enters Aries on the same day the retrograde begins (almost 12 hours later), so there is a big change in energy. We may want to rush into something thanks to Jupiter in Aries, but we have to be smart and take care of old stuff first before we can move on.  The retrograde ends square (hard aspect) Saturn in Aquarius and sextile (beneficial aspect) Neptune in Pisces. This can show we’re feeling a little restricted, maybe overwhelmed thanks to Saturn, but can find getting rest, time alone, or taking care of spiritual needs helps uplift you thanks to Neptune. I’ve got my eye on the potential for a natural disaster at the end of this retrograde too, unfortunately.

Eclipse Season + Mercury Retrograde:

Eclipse season and Mercury retrograde have some overlap, with the Scorpio lunar eclipse occurring on May 16th. The end of Mercury retrograde is opposite the lunar eclipse point, so we may feel it strongly leading into June. Emotional energy can be quite intense, and we need to avoid letting it overtake us.

The Taurus solar eclipse occurs before Mercury retrograde starts, on April 30th, but with the retrograde ending in Taurus, the solar eclipse may show second chances. Solar eclipses are times for new beginnings, while Mercury retrograde has us looking back. Put them together, and we may want to try again.

Mercury Retrograde in Gemini & Taurus 2022 Aspects:

During the retrograde, Mercury will make 4 major aspects to the other transit (moving) planets. They are:

– Conjunct the Sun on May 21st, 2022 @ 0 degrees Gemini: This is the Inferior Conjunction, a positive point in the retrograde for starting something that can be a focus for the next 6-8 weeks; find where it falls in your chart, and that may be where you can start something

– Sextile Jupiter on May 19th, 2022 @ 1 degree Gemini/Aries: This can give great energy for opportunities and expansion, especially expanding in ways we have before or wanted to before. We can be more optimistic, and this can be good energy leading into the Inferior Conjunction.

– Sextile Mars on May 23rd @ 29 degrees Taurus/Pisces: This gives us some good energy and drives to make use of, and we can feel motivated to take action, especially with this aspect occurring at 29 degrees, the analytic degree. This is super high energy, and we’re ready to jump to action. We just need to make sure we’re not being impulsive.

– Trine Pluto on May 25th, 2022 @ 28 degrees Taurus/Capricorn: This helps give us some power and control, and is in effect pretty much the whole time Mercury is in Taurus. We can find solutions, do research, transform, and find renewed energy.

Pluto in Retrograde 2022

Pluto asks, What skeletons are rattling in our closets? Where and when do we go “unconscious,” in our life? As the cosmic ruler of the underworld, Pluto’s impulse is to conceal. Projection is one of this planet’s favorite defense mechanisms; it was not me it was someone else as you point your finger at someone else.  Like the other outer planets, Pluto spends approximately five months of each year retrograde. During these times, we will often feel relief from Pluto’s assertive energy; remember during a planet’s retrogrades are times for introspection and in-depth seeking of new insights. Pluto has been Capricorn since 2008, so we have been reconciling issues of financial discrepancies, developing new monetary systems, and tussling with countries, and industries that are involved with environmental issues impact of industries on the environment and will continue until 2024.

In the ancient divination system of numerology, 22 is a master number. It adds up to four, a number that displays itself prominently in astrology and prophecy in both Eastern and Western practices. With 2/22/22 being a pivotal date and prophetic Neptune reaching 22° Pisces, it’s clear that these numbers hold a message for us. Since the moment before us demands our attention in so many strange and challenging ways, perhaps we are best served by learning from those bright stars that have preceded us as we peer into the vast amphora of the Aquarian future-time. Mercury in Retrograde

April through June 2022

As Mercury starts to slow down on April 26, the first part of retrograde is in the sign of Taurus, which will be very grounding and feel easy. Then BAM!! On May 10, just as Mercury moves into retrograde will also move into the sign of Gemini, causing chaotic issues with communication and considerable delays in transport and travel. Our communication gaps only seem to strengthen as many people try to improve or upgrade their communication, using other than face-to-face talk.

When your communication seems a bit will be ambiguous until you completely upgrade to face-to-face talk. Also, a few may hear from Exes or even old friends or family that you once chose to remove from your life.

With Mercury in its ruling planet of Gemini, energy will be at an all-time high with very intense emotional turmoil with people being too brutally honest. Then gossiping will be the peak with people from the past rising.

What to do during the retrograde in Gemini?

• Be patient and follow your regular routine.

• Maintain a healthy relationship with your partner

• Stay away from gossip.

• Use face-to-face or over-the-phone communications as much as possible.

Then transits to Taurus just as Mercury enters post-shadow on June 3. Now with Mercury in Taurus, energy slows way down, and you may feel like you’re also moving in slow motion, making you feel clumsy. Watch out for mood swings in you or others. To add a touch of crazy back, Uranus is also in Taurus, which will make for a few strange world events to pop out of nowhere.

Taurus rules the banking sector; therefore, there might be chaos in financial markets across our globe. Money matters will be slow, and your judgment regarding financial affairs will be shallow.

New Moon Energy

Every month, Our Universe gives us a little gift wrapped up yet ready to use; most of the time, we may not even think twice about it, although it is potent and, when used correctly, can change your life.  Your gift is hidden in plain sight; it is visible wherever you live a few hours every day.   In astrogeology, our moon symbolizes your feelings, instincts, or unconscious thoughts or actions.  Our New Moon is just one of our moon’s many facets.  When our New Moon energy starts a new cycle, it also indicates a new beginning for everyone.

Our New Moon designates a new time to start working towards a new goal or aim for a new purpose.  Yet, an interesting observation is most people are unconsciously connected with Moon energy, tending to create new habits, start new projects and initiate life changes around the same time as the new moon.  Which truly demonstrates our human connection deep within our soul, which also connects us to our Galaxy.   So, this goes doubly important when our new year starts with a New Moon.  Our New year mixed with our New Moon Energies is an excellent start to our new year with grand goals and ambitious beginnings.

Lighting a candle on the darkest night of the month signifies our desire to bring just more light into your life.   As you light your candle with huge intentions, purpose-driven, and a bold determination to ask your Universe to answer, you shine a light on yourself during this new moon and all the ones that follow it.

 

  1. Speck your goals.

Once your candle is lit, speak your goals with confidence and excitement.  Feel your emotions mixed with your New Moon and New Year Energy to become a confident Creator in your World.

Our  New moon is the most bountiful day of the lunar cycle each month.  So, start something else new like start a new class, begin to read a new book (preferably about your new purpose), or even step out of your comfort zone.

Create a whole list of all the details you’d like your Universe to consider when bringing you your heart’s desire and generate a list for you to get to go on your side of all of this.  Get as detailed as possible.   Make it as detailed as you can.  Draw a picture of it (even if you are not an artist).  Allow your feelings to come forward to be reflected in your drawings.

 

  1. Create a Sacred Space

Creating your own New Moon Sacred Space will assist you in focusing your energy on your goals and is the optimal time for setting a sacred space in your home to make your own magic.  Cleanse energy in your Sacred place where you’ll be meditation, manifesting, and self-reflecting.  I suggest using incense, images of people, and places that inspire you.

In time, when you enter that space, your body and mind will know it’s time to make magic.  After you’ve set it up, make sure you keep it clean and tidy to avoid bad vibes.

 

  1. Make Your Own Ritual

If you’re thinking of salt circles around as protection, you can also add Lavender Buds and Holy water if you have them available.  Making your own ritual is simply a matter of creating a set of practices you commit to doing during every new moon.  Either simple or elaborate, which is totally about cleansing you and your space, then making your space and home.

1.  I choose to Change

A new moon is about creation, so consider creating or upgrading old habits into new habits that support you as you grow.  Image moving your energy instead of stopping your energy and restarting again.

2.  Upgrade New People

New moons are excellent times to allow new people into your life.  Yet, keep in mind that you only desire to bring new people into your life that support your new you, then you can support them.  When you are around them, keep asking your energy, how do I feel in this person’s energy, listen to not only their words but the unspoken energy intergraded into their words.

3.  Make your choice for you

When you are invited to events during your New Moon, ask yourself if “this is where I require going, or do I require to choose something else instead.”

4.  Always remove Energy Vampires

Sometimes we are genuinely unable to avoid all Energy Vampires in our life, yet during a New Moon, they are on the hunt for amazing creative people to take their energy.  I suggest avoiding them as much as possible during your New Moon.  You require to harness all the positive and creative energy flowing around you; none of it should be sacrificed to an Energy Vampire.
